Beginning Munday Febru.26.
Upon a Petition from divers Inhabitants of Westminster,
for a setled Government of Common Councel, Representatives,
&c. The Commons referred it to a Committee.
An Act Passed the Commons for the Judges
for Wales both for South Wales, and also for
North-Wales, for the Assizes. And Seales also are
altered, and ordered to be sent down. They are according
to those of the Courts of England.
The Scots Commissioners Papers dated Feb.24
read. They relate former Declarations and Ingagements
of the Parliament, as to King, Law and
Religion, and then boldly tax as of Contrary actings
(as if the Parliament were bound to give
them an account) and they pretend that Popery
nor Heresie may not be tollerated, and are so saucy as to propound that the Members
of both Houses may sit. That Prince CHARLES may be acknowledged
King of these Kingdomes, and upon his security &c. to be received to the Government,
taking upon them also to protest against all contrary Proceedings.
By a Declaration of the Parliament of England, It is declared, That all persons what-soever,
residing in England Ireland or the Dominions thereof, that shall joyn, with, or adhere
unto, or voluntarily aid and assist the said Contrivers and Subscribers, or any whosoever
