TWo days ago is arrived here the young Van
Tromp and Captain Verhagbe, the ship Beerpot
came with them, the rest of the ships staid
behind eight of their ships came hither to day.
There arrived here also five ships from the Canarie
Istands laden with moneys, Indigo, Hyder;
these relate, that four ships are arrived there, coming from
Carracaes, laden with Tobacco, Hydes. In the Straits about
10 Turkish Pyrats dose cross, from hence some ships are to go
to Sea against them.
