WE have in all these parts had a very had
Winter, and up and down all the Low-Countries
have bin so great Inundations,
the like not known for many year here-to
fore; and had we not been supplied with
store of Coals from England we had been
spoyled. The Enemy in Dunkirk and
Graveline have suffered very much for
want of fireing, so that many of their men have been starved
with cold to death; and the Patience of the Inhabitants is
