OUr men here, and at Mardike, are well resolved
touching the late alteration made in England,
and ready to serve the Parliament in the defence
of these places, to the utmost hazard of
their lives, as they at large signified to our
Governor Lookhart before his embarkment for England. The
English Regiments are still at Amiens, the French under
Marshal Turcine lie part of them thereabout, ready for any
occasion: The Spanish Troops also appear in a body, but all
is quiet, and we yet partake of the benefit of the Cessation
