The grand business off Arras is come at last to a decision;
for you shall know that our Generals thinking it
stood not with their honour, nor with the greatness of
France, to keep such a gallant Army together without attempting
something more. considerable upon the enemy
then to keep them coopt up within their lines, and hinder
their provisions from coming unto them, which they might
have done easily, and so have brought them to an inevitable
ruine and destruction that way, without risking the
Army: yet desiring rather to conquer them more gloriously,
