From Dalkeith, March 15.
ALl things are very quiet in these parts, and
not the least notice of any Enemy. Middleton
is yet about Kintaile: the number with
him not above 24. He is mounting a small
Vessel which he took from some poor scotch
Fishermen near Skie-Island, and it is thought
intends to go away into her: the Laird of Jura, who had a
great command about the Bray of Marr is coming in to Major
Gen: Morgan upon Capitulation: Lorn and mac Naughton
have joyned their parties together, and are now stealing
Cowes between Finlarick and Glenarq, it is not easily resolvable
whether they will come in or no.

The Assemblies of the Estates of Provence and Languedoc
are almost at an end. The Prince of Conti hath obtained the
sum of 20000 Livres, for a present to the little Queen late of
England, to relieve her necessity.
