King, and that in the mean time, the execution
of the said Edicts should be suspended. The Advocate
and Attorney-General of the King are to
carry the said Remonstrance. It is reported,
That the Parliament of Rouen is ready to verific
all the said Edicts, if the K. Will free them of a
Samestre. Last Thursday the Principal of the
Colledg of Navarra was arrested by the Provost
de l'rste, being accused to be afalse Coyner; Gold
Ingots, and Silver barrs, much Brass, and abundance
of Tools having been found in his Chamber.
All the Forces of the French Army have their
Rendezvouz at Chauay and Noyon, where the K:
will be in person. His Majesty went yesterday
from Compeigne towards la Pere, and from thence
he is to go Head his Army.
The Countes of Bossie is solliciting for a Pass
to retire into Flanders. The D: of Gudse has offred
her to make an Assembly of Doctors (whom hee
shall choose) to determine and debate of her business
before the Popes Nuntio, and to take her
again if she be found his wife, or else to part from
her altogether. There has been lately some dispute
between the said Duke and the Count de
Lude about the functions of great Chamberlain,
which place belongs to the said Duke, who gave
a Box on the Ear to the said Count about it.
The Letters from Rome of the 2d. Of May say,
That the Pope is not only reforming the Sea, but
also the common vices, having commanded all
the Whores to be gon out of Rome, and out of the
Church Territories, under pain of corporall punishment,
